Kate is a Melbourne based web designer and Illustrator who feels that everyone desives beautiful artwork and that ' a Corporate Identity' shouldn't just be for the corporations.

What is a Corporate Identity?

 

A Corporate Identity is a term given to the way a business portrays itself to the rest of the world; its the logo we see, the design on the business cards and the feeling we get about a company from their advertising. The image is instantly recognisable and consistant giving people good feel for the company.

At SharpK we create visual identities for pet breeders as well as other non-commercial entities such as charities at a discounted rate offering set prices rather then an hourly rate, allowing all of our clients to get exactly what they require.

Sharpk Design exists to provide the little guys with affordable yet awesome design solutions; be it the creation of a new websites, designing business cards, illustrating concept art or on-site photography.

We believe in the importance of good design and like everything to match, no point in handout out business cards if they don't match your website design right? Well no not exactly but it does look much more professional and is more appealing to the customer if one mirrors the other - they knows straight away that they've found the correct website goes straight to your products/services rather than taking a moment to wonder what’s going on.

Who are we?

The name SharpK Design is derived from Kates' name Kate Sharples. The business was started by Kate at the beginning of 2010 with assistance from NEIS.

Then there's Matt! Matt Creates php scripts (such as the guestbook) which are used in some websites as well as doing other coding from time to time.
